@jsp5 Hi, swimming fins are designed to build up the strength in the lower body, to give more power through the water and give isolated workouts. If you are just learning to swim then it is probably best to steer clear of using training fins for now as they do not correct your technique. If you are looking for a training aid to help develop your strokes then why not try a kick board as you can practice all stroke leg kicks and also get a good workout.
I am a strong/experienced fitness swimmer. I find these fins very stiff (they are similar to Zoomers after all) and would not recommend them to ppl with back/knee issues. I use them for very short kicking drills or butterfly sets. I would prefer a more flexible/softer fin.
i wonder if she can find the pool heheheheheh :p
