Hi Mate, Fantastic videos mate. I mainly do UK diving and as you will see from the wreck dives on my channel it’s gets dark down there and low vis! I’m looking at getting the Lights For Me Red Star video light to go with my go pro, what’s your opinion on this? Many Thanks!!

I see you’re shooting in RAW, I’ve been contemplating on whether to custom white balance during the shallow part of the dive, and using my lights with auto white balance on for the closeups or the deeper dives. But that’s a lot of fiddling around, so shooting raw with lights always on and editing it in post would be the best and easiest option I think (any input on this would be great) is shooting raw video in a high end compact like the Canon g7x or the Sony rx100 series something you would recommend? cheers and lovely video!

Nice vid and very little backscatter! Are you angling your lights outwards for less backscatter? I’m trying to ascertain if that’s one of the advantages of the wide beam. What camera and lens are you using?

Nice and helpful review ! Thanks for that . What ‘s your opinion on using them for photography with professional DSLR ? I want to move away from flash and maybe consider these lights. 15000 Lumen is over the top ? Or maybe not even enough for pictures?
