In this video, I waterproof a dive watch using a plunge test And provide an endurance test and overview of a standard plunge type device used for waterproofing watches. I use this device after changing batteries on my dive watches. This method stays within the design limits of the depth meter. Crystal deflection method requires exposing the watch to about 20 ATM which is hard on the sensitive depth meter. The end of this video has a demonstration of waterproofing a Citizen Dive watch after a recent battery replacement.
Thanks for watching.

Could you give me a link for the pressure device?
if the watch fails the test will the movement be toast?
Very informative and frank discussion. Thank You.
