The Scubapro Mantis M2 is one of the first dive computer that uses your biometrics to tailor your decompression algorithm based on your health and the conditions you are diving in. Great above water and below, the M2 is made for beginner divers all the way up to rebreather divers.
Human Factors Diving
The M2 HRM Belt monitors your heart rate as well as your skin temperature that will adjust the decompression calculation along with workload to create one of the most accurate algorithms that gives you a true estimation of how long you can stay at any given depth.
For diving the M2 has four custom modes;
Deco, for air and nitrox scuba diving.
Gauge, where the M2 functions purely as a depth gauge and timer without recording decompression obligations.
Apnea, for freediving and snorkelling with a faster sampling rate and an enhanced log book.
CCR, for Closed Circuit Rebreather divers on a fixed PPO2
The M2 can also be used as a surface sports watch with swim and sports mode on top of the usual time keeping functions.
Predictive Multigas ZHL8 ADT MB
Fixed PPO2 CCR
PDIS – Profile Dependent Intermediate Stops calculate an intermediate stop based on your nitrogen load, current dive, previous dives and breathing mixes.
Microbubble lets you adjust how conservative the algorithm is allowing you to take up less nitrogen or off-gas faster.
Smart technology wireless air integration handles multiple transmitters while working out exactly how long your gas will last based on your depth and breathing rate.
Heart Rate Monitor records you heart rate and estimated skin temperature to adjust your decompression algorithm.
Digital tilt-compensated Compass allows for easy navigation
