David Forgy says:

No Shearwater Perdix? Absolutely my first choice.

Igor Ajranovic says:

No Suunto???
Fake and paid list by sponsors.

Ted Reitsma says:

Scuba divers get older, not younger. So i bought the Mares icon HD as i need reading glasses now for anything else. It is also the easiest one i ever had to use. As a solo certified diver, i use 2 of them.

Tomas Machourek says:

no suunto? I’d say that suunto eon steel is better than the first mares 🙂

Jonny Bravo says:

The Aqualung i750T is the new replacement for the Oceanic VTX. It has only a single compression algorithm, whereas the VTX had a user choice of two. Also, I wonder if the i750T has managed to figure out the screen visibility issues in bright sun/water conditions that seemed to plague the VTX.

And, I agree with David Forgy… why is the Shearwater Perdix AI not included on this list? From typical recreational open circuit to closed circuit rebreathers. Air, Nitrox, Trimix. Multiple tank transmitter support. Virtually limitless customizations and configuration options. From novice to advanced tech diver, the Shearwater will serve you well.

TDominoezz says:

please help I am an aow diver and I’m looking for a divecomputer, which one is better?
cressi newton titanium
cressi goa
mares smart
or suunto zoop

please help!

Connor Anderson says:

What about the gallelao (but spelt right)

Jānis Vanags says:

Mares Icon HD from this list is a decent computer, and the absent Shearwater Perdix might be the most popular among technical divers, especially in the US. However, the Czech made Divesoft Freedom is definitely worth to consider, and Heinrichs Weikamp OSTC4 would be in the top position of my list.

Faris Abdulkhadir says:

Oh come on lads I was hoping you’ll mention the suunto DX.

K. Green says:

really surprised the shearwater perdix did not make this list.
